What life changes might affect my child benefit payments from the CRA?You must tell the (CRA) if your address changes.
You must do this even if your Canada child benefit (CCB) payments go directly to your bank account.
The CRA needs your address information so they can contact you. If they can’t contact you, they may cut off your CCB payments.
You can change your address by:
- using the My Account service on the CRA website
- using the CRA’s mobile app
- calling the CRA at 1-800-387-1193
- sending the CRA’s RC325 Address change request form to your local tax centre
