4. Get your hearing date

The court will send you and the defendant a Notice of Terms of Payment Hearing. This tells you the time and date of your court hearing.

If the defendant is a person and not a business, the court also sends them a Financial Information Form. In it, they must give details about their income, expenses, debts, and assets.

Once they have completed the form, the defendant must serve you with a copy at least 30 days before the date of your hearing.
