2. Bring someone with you for support

The Ontario Human Rights Commission has released their latest take on mandatory vaccines, passports and testing, here: http://www.ohrc.on.ca/en/news_centre/ohrc-policy-statement-covid-19-vaccine-mandates-and-proof-vaccine-certificates. In light of this update, and the new directives that the Province released a few weeks ago, we are in the process of updating our covid testing content. Please re-visit the site to access the updated content when it is available.

The (SBT) will usually let you have someone with you for support. This can be a family member, friend, or other support person.

Someone who comes with you for support is not allowed to speak at the hearing. So, if someone is coming with you as a witness, they can’t be your support person as well.

The SBT can let your support person sit through the hearing with you. A witness has to wait outside the hearing room until they come in to give their evidence.
